Choosing the winner of this week's Sick Fuck of the Week award was easy.

Who else but Katherine Nadal--the 28-year-old "mother" from Houston who sliced off her 5-week-old son's penis and testicles after an argument with her husband in which she favored circumcision and he opposed it.

Nadal apparently figured she might as well take matters into her own hands, literally, and castrated her son in cold blood, blaming a 6- to 7-pound mini dachshund for the attack.

Her trial began Monday and ended Friday with a guilty verdict for causing serious bodily injury to a child, a first-degree felony that might land her in prison for life. The sentencing hearing is pending.

Mom accused of castrating baby found guilty

Katherine Nadal carved out her 5-week-old baby's genitals, completely cutting off his penis and testicles in spite of what must have been gut-wrenching screams.

The trial for this barbaric crime started in Houston Monday and ended four days later with a guilty verdict.

A jury convicted the 28-year-old subhuman woman today of causing injury to a child, a first-degree felony. The same jury will decide her sentence.

Prosecutors are asking for the maximum--life in prison.

A life sentence it wouldn't be enough punishment for this heinous crime, if you ask me. All she would lose is her freedom.

Nadal already has spend two years in jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.

The nitty-gritty

Holden Gothia was injured on March 13, 2007, at the family's Clear Lake-area apartment.

Nadal claimed the family dog--a 6- to 7-pound mini-dachshund, a breed notorious for its savage nature, aggressive behavior and powerful jaws capable of splitting a snow pea in half--attacked her son, but prosecutors dismissed that ridiculous claim, calling it "unbelievable."

Prosecutors argued that a sharp instrument was used, leaving behind a perfectly square wound unlike the wound a dog would cause, and that no blood was found in the dog's mouth, fur or paws.

The defense, on the other hand, said an expert would testify that the dog could have caused the injuries (in a parallel universe...), that police failed to find any instrument that could have been used, and that no DNA or blood evidence was found.

The severed penis and testicles were never found. That's because the sick fuck either ate them, destroyed them in a garbage disposal or flushed them down the toilet.

The day before the mutilation, Nadal told her husband she was going shopping, but police learned she went to a dope house to get high. The father, 38-year-old Camden Gothia, who was at work when his wife went psycho on the baby, testified that when Nadal returned from her shopping trip she was "not sober." The couple then argued over whether to have the baby circumcised, with Nadal in favor and Gothia against it because of the pain involved in the procedure.

“Now he's more than circumcised,” Assistant D.A. Denise Oncken said.

The day after the attack Nadal tested positive for cocaine, methadone and a mild tranquilizer, according to a Houston Chronicle report. She has been arrested twice on drug-related charges that later were dismissed.

A neighbor told police Nadal knocked on his door around 12:30 p.m. saying something was wrong with the baby. Edward Vega called 911 and followed Nadal back to her apartment, where he saw the baby on a queen-sized bed, bleeding from the lower portion of his body "with his privates missing," according to a police report. Nadal told the neighbor that "the dog did it."

Vega told police that he found the baby naked and uncovered, that he did not see paw prints or blood on the dog, and that there were no used or torn diapers around the baby, noting that "the blood had been there for a while on the bed," according to the report.

Vega and his wife said Nadal didn't seem upset. Nadal's attorney explained that she was probably in shock.

The boy's aunt, Patches DeShazo, took in the boy, who is still waiting for reconstructive surgeries. DeShazo is Gothia's sister.

Sadly for him, he survived the brutal attack. What kind of life awaits him? How much pain and suffering and depression and anxiety and hours of therapy and pills?

Remember this was no surgery; this baby suffered through this torture without anesthesia. And no matter how many reconstructive surgeries he undergoes, he will never, ever be restored to normal and will have a constant reminder of what happened to him.

Too bad there's no eye-for-an-eye law in this country so that she could be shown as much mercy as she showed this tiny, helpless, innocent baby when slicing off his genitals.

Babies dropped from shrine roof in India

The 700-year-old ritual is based on the belief that the fall ensures good health and prosperity for the families. Putting the danger of the fall aside--I say the fall is more likely to ensure the kids will be panic-wired for life. But, who knows...

Mother kills baby, eats body parts, blames devil

This one will be hard to top in our next Sick Fuck of the Week award.

"The devil made me do it," said a woman in San Antonio, Texas, who decapitated her 3 1/2-week-old baby and ate some of his body parts.

WTF!?!

When called to the house Sunday, police found Otty Sanchez sitting on her couch screaming: "I killed my baby! I want to die!" and saying that she was "hearing voices" and that she killed her son at the devil's request.

The dismembered body of Scott Wesley Buchholtz-Sanchez was found in a bedroom. His face was mutilated, three of his toes had been chewed off, his head severed and his brains ripped out, police said.

She also stabbed herself twice, in the torso and neck as she attempted to slit her throat.

Police found a knife, sword and machete in the house.

The 33-year-old woman has been charged with capital murder and is being held on $1 million bail. She is in a hospital recovering from her stab wounds, which reportedly are not life-threatening.

"She killed my son. She should burn in hell," he said.

The 33-year-old man said Sanchez had been hospitalized for postpartum depression a week before the attack but refused to take her medication.

It was around this time that Sanchez told him she was schizophrenic, according to Buchholz who happens to be schizophrenic himself and who takes a cocktail of meds to treat his condition. The two met six years ago while studying to be pharmacists assistants.

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said the attack happened one week after the Buchholz moved out of the house.

The child's paternal grandmother, Kathleen Buchholtz, said the baby's parents had been talking about getting back together and that Sanchez showed no signs of emotional problems the previous night, ABC affiliate KSAT 12 reported.

However, Sanchez's aunt, Gloria Sanchez, reportedly said her niece had been "in and out" of a psychiatric ward and that the hospital called several months ago to see how she was doing.

The infant's aunt and two cousins, ages 5 and 7, were in the house at the time of the killing, but none of them were harmed, police reportedly said. (Did they see what this sick fuck do? If they did, they're not unharmed...if you ask me.)

McManus said Monday the attack was "too heinous" to fully discuss, noting the crime scene was so horrific officers were severely affected and may need counseling.

"There are a few officers who have had issues since that scene," McManus told reporters. "There were some unspeakable atrocities associated with this crime. You just don't sit it in this business that often."

Pregnant woman cut open, baby taken

Sick fucks are crawling out of the woodwork today.

Authorities said Monday an 21-year-old woman who was found dead in a crawl space of an Oregon suburban home had been cut open and her baby delivered from her womb, AP reported.

The Washington County sheriff's office said Monday that it couldn't be determined if the infant son of Heather Snively, who was eight months pregnant, died before or after he was removed from the womb.

A medical examiner said earlier Monday that Snively had died of "blunt force" and "sharp force" injuries.

A 27-year-old Beaverton woman who claimed the baby was her own was to be arraigned Monday on a murder charge in Snively's death, AP reported.

Authorities haven't said how Korena Elaine Roberts obtained Snively's baby, who died Friday at a hospital, AP reported. Snively's body was found in Roberts' home.

17-year old sadist beats, rapes and kills baby

It's only Monday, and already we have strong contenders for the Sick Fuck of the Week Award.

Earlier we learned about two dirtbags who soaked a dog in gasoline and set in on fire just for fun. And now, we're introduced to a piece of trash whose heartwarming deed will be difficult to top this week. Yet, we still have six days to go, so you never know.

Our next candidate for Sick Fuck of the Week is Arnold T. Ross, a 17-year-old sick fuck who beat, raped and killed an 8-month-old baby boy in New Orleans. (Police photo)

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office said Ross was charged with aggravated rape and first-degree murder and taken into custody Saturday. No bond was set.

He was arrested after officers responded to a call about an unresponsive infant, AP reported. The baby, Da-Von Lonzo, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, according to a news release issued by the sheriff's office.

Authorities say Ross told them he was the boyfriend of the infant's mother and the baby fell down the stairs while he was baby-sitting, but he later acknowledged that he beat the infant repeatedly when he would not stop crying.

So this genius, like sooo many geniuses before him, tried to stop a baby from crying by beating him to a pulp. Brilliant. On top of that, he figured raping a tiny baby with a big dick would assist in stopping the crying.

This degenerate told police that when the child began to defecate on himself (from the beating, no doubt), he tried to clean it up, causing the tears.

He beat the crap out of the baby--literally--and then caused the tears while cleaning the baby with his dick. It's perfectly logical.

Can anyone explain to me what the fuck is up with these scumbag, no-IQ "boyfriends" who beat, rape and microwave babies? And what's up with the "mothers" who pick these men. Where do they find them? The sewers?

Ross has a record of previous arrests for possession of crack cocaine and marijuana, obscenity, battery on a correctional officer, three counts of battery on a teacher, three counts of theft, illegal carrying of a weapon and assault, according to Nola.com.

And he was free to roam the streets...

What did the authorities expect this out-of-control, depraved, criminally inclined motherfucking shit for brains to do? Go out to the world and be someone other than who he's been so far? Go to school? Play a sport? Get a job?

I would look into who allowed this perverted brute to remain among us after a string of crimes during his short life.

I hope he's convicted and sent to a prison where he'll never lack someone to lovingly "wipe his ass" when he gets the crap beaten out of him.

Billy Bob's daughter arrested in baby's death

Last month Billy Bob Thornton made headlines for being an ass during an interview at a Canadian public radio station meant to promote the tour of his band, the Boxmasters.

Now his oldest daughter is in the news, and for waaay more than being an ass.

Amanda Brumgield is facing charges in the death of a 1-year-old girl she was babysitting in October, celebrity gossip website TMZ.com reported Sunday.

Police in n Ocoee, Florida, confirmed that the 29-year-old has been charged with child neglect causing harm or disability and placed in custody, AP reported.

TMZ reported she's the daughter of the 53-year-old actor, but police spokesman Lee Stephens said the police records department was closed Sunday and he couldn't find out whether Brumfield is related to Thornton, AP reported.

Brumfield told detectives that a girl she was babysitting hit her head in a fall on Oct. 3, Detective James Berish said in a news release. Brumfield called for help more than two hours later when she couldn't revive the girl, police in the city near Orlando said according to the AP report.

An autopsy determined the girl had a fractured skull and brain injury. The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide and said the explanation Brumfield gave was inconsistent with the child's injuries, police said.

Uh, oh...

Thornton's publicist Arnold Robinson said the actor has not had contact with Brumfield for quite some time.

Now, why does that not surprise me?

He wouldn't confirm that Brumfield was the woman arrested; however, he said that when Thornton was "informed about this situation" he commented that, "Anytime a baby's life is lost is an unimaginable tragedy and my heart goes out to the baby's family and loved ones."

Police did not know whether Brumfield had an attorney.
