Iran extends election complaints deadline 5 days


Tehran streets were quieter today. What that means in terms of the movement born from a massive protest against the June 12 presidential results, which declared incumbent President Ahmadinejad the winner, remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei agreed to extend deadline for election complaints by five days, NBC news anchor Ann Curry said via Twitter.
